Empires of Sand: The Pharaoh’s City

Empires of Sand: pharaoh's city

In Empires of Sand, the center of the empire is the pharaoh’s city. There is where the king of Egypt lives and the city that players can evolve.

In order to evolve the city, the pharaoh needs stone that can be obtained from the stone mines near the city. Furthermore, the empire needs gold. The precious metal is used to train new and better troops. The temple and the laboratory also need money to unlock new spells and improvements in buildings.

The city has one building for each defense tower. Players can improve them using stone. It is important to upgrade them as soon as possible because the upgrades unlock new levels of the tower in battles. For example, if the archers towers in the city is level 4 that means players can upgrade that tower in battles up to level 4.

Units work the same way. The barracks building can be upgraded using stone, but inside the barracks troops needs money in order to strength them. Having a unit in level 3, means it can be upgraded during battle up to level 3.

Empires of Sand: The Pharaoh's City

Spells can be improved in the temple. Unlike troops or towers, when a spell is upgraded to a new level, there is no need to upgrade it during battle. This is very important because in order to upgrade a tower up to the max level, a player needs to spend a considerable amount of divine power. However, a spell is always at its maximum level since the very moment a battle starts.

Every upgrade made in the city is available in player versus player modes, and in the campaign.

There is also another important building in the city: The Fountain of Lives. Each time a player loses a ranked match, he or she loses one life. The fountain generates new lives.

And last, the most important building: The City Center. It is the home of the pharaoh and the level of this building defines if the others can be upgraded. For example, the laboratory can be built only when city center is level 2.

The game FREQUENTLY loses connection during battle resulting in an immediate loss. It’s extremely frustrating. It loses connection more often than not. There needs to be a 5-10 second attempt to reset abolish connection before the battle ends.

      Hi Paul,
We are sorry for the problems with connections. The game is growing fast and sometimes the servers did not scale as fast as we like. We are working on it. It is our main priority now.

      Thank you for your patience!

      Hi,
We are aware of this problem. Some user have reported the same behaviour. We are working on fixing it.
      Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Three things:

    1. When you unlock the second gold mine or second stone quarry for 100 gems, do you then need to use gems to continue upgrading that mine or quarry or can you then use gold or stone to upgrade them?

    2. When we battle someone and they quickly disconnect, it should be an automatic win. It should also warn the user that they will lose the battle if they disconnect. One time I had the same person disconnect from the start of the battle 3 times in a row (looks like nobody else was playing at the time). He didn’t want to fight me but shouldn’t be able to choose to disconnect without consequences.

    3. The final battle with Seth crashed 3 times on me.

      Hi Matt,

1.- Once you unlock the mines, they can be upgraded using gold and stone, as the regular ones.

2.- We are aware of this issue, and we are working on a solution that isn’t unfair for those who disconnects because of a network problem.

3.- Which device are you using?

Thanks! I’m using an iPad 2 (64GB) with the latest version (7.1.2) before version 8. I was eventually able to pass the final level of campaign 1 without it crashing. Each time it crashed was with the last area where you fight Seth, himself, not the big city area before you actually see Seth.

Okay, just one more observation. A few days ago the Daily Mission was going to pay 75,000 gold/stone but half-way through the missions, it suddenly changed to offering 500 gold/stone for me to do 3 things, one of which is to raise a tower to a new level, which will take close to 2 weeks to accomplish, since I have to first wait 6 days to update the city center…. My guess is that the daily missions got reset or something. Was it just me or did this happen to everyone? My account name is paraworlds.

      Hello,

Did you connect your old account to Game Center, Facebook or Google Play?

If you did, you can recover your old account by creating a new one and connecting it to the same account you connected your old one.

If you did not connect your old account, connect the new one and send us an email to contact@codigames.com with the name of your new pharaoh, and the old one, and we will manually connect both accounts.

      Regards
