Codigames has secured $1 million in a round of funding. The funding round was lead by Caixa Capital Risk, Angels, and Farady Venture Partners.
The funding will allow the studio to keep growing, and consolidate as a referent in multi-player mobile games. Codigames has surpassed 1 million dollars in gross revenue, and the studio expects business volume to triple next year.
“Our main goal is to keep pushing mobile social games to a new level, and consolidate the studio as a global project. We have proved that players look for new game experience in their mobile devices, and we plan to continue working on that direction”, said Francisco Martínez, founder and CEO of Codigames.
“We are very excited at this new stage, and very happy to start working with our new partners. They believe in this project as much and we do, and they have offered their support, and their knowledge to help us achieve our goals”.
Codigames is already working on a new title, that will be released in the App Store in the following weeks. The studio is also working on Dungeon Legends, and Action RPG game launched on september. The game was chosen by Apple as Best Dungeon Crawler in 2015, and it has been downloaded more than 2 million times. Dungeon Legends will receive soon new updates with more content, and new features.
